Farecla G10 and 3M Machine Polish

Hi this is a question related to my other wax thread. Before i wax or Auto-balm and then wax, i am wantting to polish the paintwork to leave the best finish i can. I already have both these products in my kit so would like to make use of them if i can? My question is which one is best and also if anyone knows which one is most abrasive? I'm assuming from past experience that they are quite fine polishes so i'd also like someone to recommend me a really abrasive/course polish for using on deep scratches that these will take too long to remove. Oh also i will be applying these by hand. Many Thanks in advace.

if you was local i would lend you a polisher.Farecla G10 and 3M compound are very fine compounds Ok for nice fresh paint work but if you are going to doing it by hand you will be pissing in the wind lol.

Well you were right, and it was pretty windy! It did make a big difference tho! Brought up the dull bits quite nicely but didn't really remove the swirls and was hard work! What would be best to use by hand? Something with a bit more cut to it?
