removing suntan lotion from leather
Discussion
Hi
New here. Whats the best product to get suntan lotion / block / grease staining out of the leather in the inetrior of a black porsche cabriolet ? Also how do I get rid of all the dead bugs splattered across the front - the local car wash wouldn't shift them. Just done a driving trip to Ibiza and the dirt / dust seems baked in.
Also at the base of the windscreen there is a black plastic mount for the windscreen wipers that runs the width of the bonnet - its faded to light grey - how do I get this back to a nice black ?
Finally what the best wax product for a Basalt Black car and with what would you clean the black canvas roof which is covered in all sorts of cr@p.
Thanks in advance for these totally basic questions....

You could try Autogleam tar remover - apply a little with a cloth, leave then wipe clean. The other option would be to claybar the car (not as difficult as it sounds) then remove any remaining tar/bug marks with the AG. Polish then wax the car after (as the claybar removes all the protection from the paint).nsp1 said:

Lots of "Back to black" type products around depending on the finish you want. nsp1 said:

Soft nail brush and an appropriate soft top cleaner, followed up with a protector.nsp1 said:
No problem at all. You could take a look at the cleanyourcar website for some product suggestions (they also have a great forum as well). Tim there is very helpful if you give him a call.
