Hi All

I have used AB since being recommended it by KDSKeltec and it is great stuff - but it does wash off over time.

Is there anything easy to use and tough that is good on top of it to make it last longer? I use it particularly on dark metallic colours.

Many thanks.

Interested to hear the results here myself.

This topic may be of interest Manks if you've not already seen it: http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/forum/search.php?s...

I only skimmed through though and didn't spot anything RE additional protection. Kelly's 50/50 photos on the Porsche are quite amazing.

Which one are you referring to Jim? That link goes to 20 pages of threads.

Is it the one where Kelly did a purple IB 911? I seem to recall seeing that before. In fact he linked me to it as I recall.

Actually, that reminds me I did ask Kelly this once before on another thread (age-related memory loss kicking in I think) and he said it is not essential to use anything on top but listed some different products.

Obviously there was not one "best" answer otherwise I might have remembered.

It's impressive gear isn't it. It is not hard to apply so when the 911 becomes marred again I might just use the AB and not bother with anything on top.
