Do I Need A Re Spray

Hoping to get the advice of the PH experts please.

Had some viper stripes on my Chimaera and on removal they seem to have taken some paint with them from the front edge of the bonnet. Bit surprised as I was under the impression that TVR paint was very hard and they weren't exactly shy when slapping it on at the factory.

Can this damage be repaired fairly easily or do I need a re spray ?

Any advice is much appreciated.

Looks like the lacquer has been removed - that area needs a respray. It's posible that a competant SMART repairer could produce a nice finish in that area. If the new lacquer can be faded around the curve of the bonnet, it will be virtually undetectable. Google smartmapuk for repairers in your area (map may be out of action at present pending site redesign...).
