Removing underseal from wheels

I had underseal applied last autumn and when I took the summer wheels off I noticed some overspray on the insides of the wheels.

Autoglym Tar Remover won't touch it - any ideas on something to take it off but leave the lacquer intact?

Try autosmarts tardis and leave it to soak, and if that doesn't work I've used surgical spirit before on a similar problem on an engine with good results

Petrol will bring it off. Obviosly be careful and suggest you dont light up at the same time!
