Which Shampoo..........
Discussion
Personally, I reckon if you're not into detailing, just about any shampoo would be fine. I use whatever's available on my old Volvo V40. On my nicer cars, I really like the Halfords Zymol shampoo (light blue colour)... it's very thick/creamy and lathers up really well. It also smells fantastic!
Just finishing a big container of Megs Gold Class and I'm not keen on it... very disappointed. I find it doesn't lather-up very well at all (and it doesn't smell as good as the Zymol!) Autoglym is good, but a watery liquid as opposed to a thick gloopy shampoo. Mer shampoo isn't great IMO.

+1 for zymol shampoo.Tried most of them and find this the best.It does smell fantastic too!Just finishing a big container of Megs Gold Class and I'm not keen on it... very disappointed. IMO if buying from Halfauds go for the Megs Gold Class.
If you go for mail order go for Dodo Born to Be Mild. You only need about 3 capfuls in a full bucket. Far better than any that are available from Halfauds and is great value for money.
Avoid any wash and wax shampoos as they tend to dry very streaky causing more work for yourself.

Got to disagree with that... I've used Halfords Zymol and Megs Gold Class and the Megs Gold Class is definitely inferior, IMO.
As I said that was my opinion from the choice in Halfauds. Zymol is yours. I don't buy my detailing products from Halfauds as I feel that 95% of the products available in there are either inferior to what is available mail order or more expensive than I can pay on line.
