Is this damage Repairable DIY?
Discussion
Hi all. Seeing as the weather is improving it's about time I addressed some of the bodywork damage I have. I bought the car with some of the damage on it but some of it has been caused by feckless tits in Kia Picantos while I was shopping...
Anyhow, the car is a Volvo S60 and I have already bought the correct colour spray, along with primer, plastic primer and a clear lacquer... I am thinking I will probably need an orbital sander though...
Here's the damage...

Bloody Kia... I means seriously how can you not park that!!!
And this came with the car when I bought it:

and this:

and last and in this case least, these:

What will I need other than the above and how do I go about repairing these. It takes quite a bit of courage to start attacking your car with sanders etc so before I go ahead I wan't to know what I'm doing a bit better.
Thanks, as always any help will be greatly appreciated and rewarded with beer tokens if ever we should meet...
Cheers
James

Firstly, I'd recommend calling your local SMART repairer (smartmapuk.co.uk)! But if you're determined to do it yourself, you will also need:
Adhesion promoter
Fine texture spray
Filler
Etch primer
Sanding paper from 180 up through to 800 grit
Block for the paper
Scotch pads
Lacquer fade out
Suitable masking material
Rotary polishing machine
Polishing compound
You will need to blend the paint and lacquer into the surrounding areas in pictures 2, 4 & 5. It's highly unlikely that your paint will be a perfect match. The fade out is for the lacquer.
There appears to be a dent in the wing above the bumper in picture 2. The bottom of the wing will need to be tapped back into shape prior to filling. The bumper inserts will come out with a wedge tool and care.
There are several posts describing the repair process on this forum, so I suggest you start searching as it's too lengthy to repeat here.
Best of luck!

Random Orbiter : Check
Sanding disks: Check
Filler: Check
Metal + Plastic Primer: Check
Paint: Not a bad match but slightly darker. Go straight to OEM and try genuine Volvo?
How do I blend the paint work better? How much do i overlap the primer/base coat on the existing paint or will i need to scuff the existing undamaged paint and relaquer it...
