Hi all,

Which back to black type of product would anyone recommend?
I use a silicon type spray at present which looks great but is a short term fix until it gets wet or washed.

I have some side steps on the Mrs CRV which have gone grey instead of black......on an all black car it looks poor!

You need something permanent like Dodo Juice Supernatural Trim Sealant or GTechniq C4, I think.
Give it good scrub with a strong degreaser solution (and nail/toothbrush), and follow with a really good rinse.
The alternative is heat with hot air gun or hairdryer on high, but watch electrics & water, and that you don't scorch the trim.

The AG is okay, but it masks rather than cleans.

Have you tried peanut butter first to get polish etc out before using a product such as the AG?
