Somehow got a scratch down the near side door. I don't think it is too deep but you can just feel it with your fingernail.

What is the best way to try to mask it without repaint? Somekind of coloured polish?

Are those Simoniz pens any good?

Thanks

No to both I'm afraid. Polish won't fill scratches like that and the pens only mask very light abrasions in the lacquer.

Check out the smart map uk site for your closest SMART repairer.

Cheers

Can you take a pic?

If you can feel it with your finger nail it is not a good sign. However, polishes can improve the appearence by rounding off the edges of the scratch so the sun light does not catch on them.

My wife had some light scratches on her dark fiesta
keymarks near handle and bramble caused scratches on nearside doors
I tried meguires x20 scratch remover and it did the trick. removing 95% of all marks. There is a small length of deeper scratch that may need a second go.
But... if a fingernail catches the scratch them purely polishing may not work.
Smart repair like Chipsaway will be the next option.

There's a product available from the states called Dr Colourchip. It comes in various sizes. It's a bit of a smudge over and remove excess type of paint product and depending on how well you apply it and where abouts it needs to be applied it can have some good results. You need to supply them with your colour code.

Could be worth a look for you if you can only just about feel the scratch.
