Local motorsport photographer has posted this pic on our club website and is asking what type of Lotus?

Thanks, that was my suggestion, although only a guess on my part.
Also just noticed that he car behind in the pic is my old AH Sprite which I sold about 25 years ago

Could be an Elite or Eclat, really need to see a pic side on to be sure

Though studying the rear quarter as closely as possible on that photo, I'd put my money on it being an Elite.

my vote is for an Elite as well

It's an Elite, the rear window visible throught the car is too big for an Eclat, plus you can see the rising rear bodywork beside the side window.

Yep there has been a reply on the wascc.com.au website (where the pic was posted) which confirms that it is in fact an elite.
