E Type cavalcade

Is anyone going on this run ? it starts early on Sunday morning 6th June, and does a 10 mile drive through central London, ending up in Canary wharf.
Does anyone fancy meeting up and driving up in there E ? Maybe meet somewhere in S E Kent near Orpington, or S E London somewhere.

Hi all

The Jaguar Drivers club have organised a fantastic event as the opener to Motorexpo show at Canary Wharf. [Monday the 6th] There's going to be 50 E Types in a cavalcade, with Nigel Mansell leading with a team on Pro Cycles! for his charity UK Youth,

I hear there is also going to be a great photo opportunity down the mall, if any one is interested. And the Club are going to have a fantastic stand at the show too, so should be a great display of Jags!

Does anyone have the actual route for this? I'm working in Old Street that day and would love to pop out and see the convoy... just wondering the nearest place I could see it?

it starts from Halkin street just off Grosvenor place SW1 around 9am, goes down the Mall ect ect on to Canary wharf

Thanks for that. Any idea of the specific route around the City? I'm assuming it'll pass St Paul's?

Given the scale of the event I'm surprised a full route hasn't been published (well, not that I can see from my googling anyway).

I know its 10 miles, dont know the exact route, i think it was generally "the old school" that were invited/chosen...shame there was`nt something much bigger organised, there`s lots of guys i know who applied to join, but never even got an answer, i think its not what you know but who you know sadly.
