surprised there were on 50 E-types surely they could have had cars from other clubs ?

Or was this a closed shop event ?

Yes, it was the JDC alone. I phoned a couple of weeks ago to ask if i could join in, and the woman was quite offish, saying that they had got there "quota" ie 50 E Types, and that was that, ok i said, i`ll tag in on the end, oh no she said, you cant do that, we have a police escort ! well, i`ll tag along behind that then, i hope you dont ! was her words, anyway, i gave up in the end.
But....there`s nothing to stop us (any E Type owners that is) having a drive/meet of our own, a venue could be arranged, or is it to big a thing to arrange ??
Maybe there`s more of you E Type owners out there that would like to have a massive meet up ? somewhere in London would be cool ? any thoughts/suggestions, or tell me i`m being an utter plonker even thinking arranging such a thing

Its a series 1 4.2 1965 FHC



now being fitted with Coopercraft brakes , 6J wheels and removable steering wheel from CMC
