wonder what happened to it...
3-5 years ago it was under long term restoration, don't know if it's finished yet.http://www.shelbyforums.com/forums/shelby-automobi...
Yeah I read the article in the first link after I posted. Final pic caption: "This is the Lonestar tub in 2007, the subject of a nut and bolt restoration by Geoff Howard of Danbury, Conn. Geoff has been working on the car for probably ten years, so it can't be that much longer. The front and rear body sections will be fully removable"

Back in the late 80s I walked past what used to be a Ford dealer in Stratford, East London and saw this Wilment Cobra sitting there, my mouth dropped at seeing such an amazing thing surrounded by Transits on one side and a tower block on the other.
Anyone got anymore info ?

Shame it looks like it's lost it's lovely original magnessium Halibrand's and is wearing a ghastly set of polished ally versions instead

Halibrands
also looks like it's lost its Fiat 8V underpinnings, but let's not dwell on trivialities, eh?
