Probably an old rehash, but one I had never seen and I had a very big lump in my throat watching this on TV the other night. Jackie Stewart, lucid as always and the leader of the safety movement, but so many horrific scenes of such tragic deaths.

Watched the first ten mins or so on iPlayer yesterday but didn't continue as i believe it's a repeat. Shown about 6 months ago?

Sad that that the vast majority of the drivers who were killed are now largely forgotten. Piers Courage, Jerry Birrel, Francois Cevert , etc etc .

ESPN aired some 1970's British GP's in July the details are there to be seen.
No run off area's and catch fences designed to stop the cars, posts and wire netting.
JS was commentating with Raymond Baxter no comments regarding danger, it is only on reflection that they are horrendous.
Was it the best on offer at the time?
