I fancy a day rummaging around looking for elusive widgets! Anyone else going this weekend? Havent been for 10 years so has it changed much?

Had a stall there on sunday, third year running, was ok but not the best year, I think most people were put off by the weather forecast.

I dont think Beaulieu is as good as it used to be in the nineties mainly due to ebay, though its still a good day out.

Very true. The JDC cancelled their Farnham spares day in February since the number of traders had dropped substantially over the years. They prefer nowadays to sell their bits on a Sunday without hassle while eating their boiled egg indoors. Haven't been to Beaulieu for years myself

Well I had a clear out of all the bits in the workshop, and had a stand.

I sold the grand sum of £12

I bought £300 worth of rusty stuff, about £150 on petrol, and about £400 on food drink and the hotel.

And enjoyed every minute on it biggrin
