We've had this type of discussion before. It's just an asking price and if someone pays that asking price then that is what its worth whatever you or anyone else might think smile

As above, but only to the person who actually pays it.

This Herald has come up for sale a number of times before. It was for sale this time last year with four fewer miles on the clock and a seven grand asking price.

IIRC it has had paintwork and new carpets.

Any of us who carry out a serious restoration spend this kind of money, often cars that will never give you back what you put in.

If I wanted a top knotch Herald, I'd need to pay big money.

The herald is not for me though.

^old Herald^ I had a gaze through the window at this one, earlier in the year - (I stress, I wasn't there to see it, I was meeting the family nearby after dropping the car off, hence shanks pony) - it's a talking point for the showroom, I doubt they'll sell it, but doubt they care, it gets them additional showroom traffic. Not that unusual around these parts; watch out for the 92 mile base model Civic in 40 years time...form an orderly queue please...

That herald has been for sale for well over a year, it first went on sale at Kings Lynn Classic Car Auction and sold for 6k (IFRC) (The mileage was 65)since then it has gradually got more expensive - I last saw it at 14K!
