has anyone got access to a Bosch ignition parts catalogue please?

I need to find out what cars the Bosch rotor arm 1 234 332 024 (or 1.234.332.024) was originally fitted to (not modified installations like mine)

I've a non-standard installation of dissy with a different cap and rotor

the Beru catalogue only shows three MB models yet doesn't tie up with Intermotor alternatives

QH only cross with some from Intermotor, all very confusing, cheers

If this is on a 123 four cylinder distributor, it is almost certainly the same as an early VW Polo, probably a 1.1 or 1.3.

I would try your local GSF or Euro car parts for cross reference to the VAG number.

cheers, I'm trying to avoid that to save wasting their time and mine last few visits have included a queue of people who are not sure what they want, can't believe the price, want only one piece from a set and none speak English and seem to think if they stand there long enough the chap behind the counter with magically know what they want, dratically reduce the price, split the set or learn their language

I've absolutely nothing againgst these people just wish they'd learn a bit more and accept a bit more about where they currently live - I'm certain the British abraod are just as bad and worse

Bosch only brings up three matches.

Part number 1 234 332 024 was superseded by part number 1 234 332 088.

1 234 332 088 was fitted to the MKII Ford Escort 1.6 (46KW) from 06/1976 to 12/1980 and also to the VW Beetle 1.2 (22-26KW) from 06/1954 to 06/1960 and the 1.2 (29KW) from 07/1960 to 12/1965.

John.

thank you gentleman thumbup this is beginning to tie in things

comparing is difficult as each list has a different style of discription to the part number, the car model and engine, amazing that there car be so many variancies to a description
