Rallye des Alpes - Stelvio

Has anyone competed in this? A friend just dropped me a line about it and it looks like I'll be going for it in Sept 2012 in the DS.

1200km in 24 hours, starts and finishes at the top of the Stelvio Pass.

Organised by PAC Events in France ( http://www.pacevents.com) and seems to attract a motley bunch of euro racers and gentleman rogues (just like me )

If anyone knows of it or has competed I'd love to hear thoughts.

Have you read Peter Scott's report in Old Stager from the 2011 event? It was quite challenging but some organisational challenges!

Hi Tony,

I don't think I did, hopefully got my old copies hanging around so will try and dig it out - thanks.

Also, just heard from James re the November Sun Run 2012, details released in a few weeks, rumours on this years rally were it would be back to Menton (next to Monaco) again. Wherever it ends up we'll be on it with an eye on the top prize this year
