'new' classic car museum in c+sc a couple of years back

About a year or two ago, I read in C+SC that someone went somewhere near the M1 to pick-up a hardtop for a classic car adn stumbled onto a classic collection that was being readied by health and safety for being open to the public. To save me reading through up to 24 issues to find the article, can anyone remember it's name?

Quite possibly. I remember they had a website, but that's no use at all as I tried googling to no avail. It was somewhere between London and Luton!

It was me! I think. At least it might have been.
I tracked down a one-off Jensen Interceptor Mk4 fixed-head-coupé to a private collection in Potters Bar that the family was hoping to open to the public and get up and running as a photographic studio and film/other car hire business, plus storage facility etc.
I am not sure where they are with regard to becoming a public museum, but I do know for certain that "enthusiasts" groups have been round it since the original story. The selection of wedge Lagondas alone makes it worthwhile.

I went over Christmas and it was great. Run by a complete petrolhead who can't get round to selling any of the cars he buys, so he might as well open it to the public! Health and Safety mostly runs to trusting you not to do anything d*mn stupid. Only car club members are invited, as I presume he doesn't want anyone else tripping over cables, fiddling with things, sitting on the bonnets... It's like being thrown the keys to a friend's (very tidy) garage rather than a museum, although it is a very modern "B&Q" shed type building.

The track is too wide for the body!


I hope the wheels are only a mock up and the offset will be changed on the finished article.
