just seen a new old stock Lucas Third Dimension Sound System (part LS450)
I saw and heard something like this fitted to a Rover P6 and when you switched it on boy did it increase the volume, I remember thinking it would be of more use in a noisy sports car rather than a plush saloon
the one I saw and heard boosted a second mono speaker but looking at all the wires this could be for stereo(?)
in the advert the seller has put 'Specially developed to provide an additional amplifier and volume control that directs bass through an extra loudspeaker'
I’m not sure that was the case for the one I heard but I might be wrong

and other might know if this is a bass boost for stero or mono or a booster for a second mono speaker
