Classic car event May 13th....
Discussion
Hi all.
I have been tasked with trying to organise a bunch of classic cars to come to an event at the only steam powered working brickworks in the whole of the UK!
Bursledon Brickworks is the only live steam running brickworks in the country, with a large stationary steam engine and a three storey high pug mill run by a gigantic shaft, belts and cast iron cogs! Proper big old engineering and it all works!
We've got space for plenty of classic cars and bikes and would like anybody interested to post on the thread or pm me for more information.
Entry to the museum will be included for any exhibitors and there is a cafe on site for snacks and such, of course full amenities are available for toilet facilities etc.
There may also be traction engines and a narrow guage railway running but these are TBC.

There's always that! My apologies, it was sprung on me when I was there on thursday and I somewhat rushed the post!

That's the place, we're accessible via juction 8 of the M27, ten minutes from the junction if that!
I'm still trying to get some sort of "participation awards" that everyone can have for bringing their cars, it's not a "proper" show with judges and the like just a nice place to bring your car, see the museum have a snack and chat to friendly folk!

Bugger!
Looks like I'll be stuck with the date as they've advertised it as a cars event, luckily they haven't stipulated "classic" cars on their literature so I think I'm going to have to get them to aim for something different!
Thanks
Edit, which autojumble? The spring is the next weekend (19-20) and the International is in September?
