'C' Type Jag for sale
Discussion
A million miles away from the 'D' type recently for sale.
A 1951 Jaguar C Type Project. http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/jaguar/c...
I'm not at all interested in taking it on, just interested in the thoughts of the collective.

Looks a well built chassis but I love his spelling of "seemless"! Overall, not a lot of money when you see what is included but the engine and gearboxes need rebuilding, the dynamo too, there seem to be only three new wheels, the suspension is incomplete and so on. Of course, the biggest problem is its location.
It made me smile to read, " ... taken off a mould from an original C Type ..." - if I had a pound for very time I have heard that in relation to replicas!
It appears to be rather overpriced for what you get. I would want to see the chassis in person as there is no way of knowing its quality from the photos alone. For not too much more than this you can buy a perfectly respectable completed car. Sadly, certain overpriced Jaguar restoration "specialists" and their gullible customers who are prepared to pay through the nose for anything "Classic Jaguar", continue to artificially inflate the value of projects such as this.
