Anyone done it?

Who is the best import agent to go to for advice on duties, taxes etc.

Are you importing it as a new(to you) car or are you already the owner?If you haven't bought the car yet try looking in Germany all Vat and other duties paid within EU so you if wanted you could actually drive the thing home!More choice in Germany aswell

I used Kingstown shipping in Hull. They know what they're about and it was a painless process for me. Cost about £1200 from Florida.

Note that tax is only 5% of the (car+shipping) price if its old enough.

Have a chat with the lovely people on DDK-online.com.

They know not only aboout all sorts of old Porsche related stuff, but also about bringing it into this country.
Seem like a nice bunch too.

I used Schumacher shipping out of NY and can really recommend them.
