Does anyone please have a suggestion to match this paint? The original paint from 1969 is no longer available. The JOC forum has not come up with any suggestions thus far.

Cheers.

Looks lovely. Speak to Keith or Steve at a company call CARS. Carlton Auto Refinishing Systems. Based in Dagenham 020 8592 6300. Very helpful chaps that supply all sorts of paint to bodyshops. We use them primarily for aerosols and tins of touch up in good old cellulose of course.

No idea! The photo of the Interceptor shows the car about three years ago, before it drove 13,000 miles, and spent one winter outdoors, so it looked a bit tired when it went in to the paintshop. Now it is in primer, ready for a full respray, after being taken to bare metal. I was pleasantly surprised to find that there were only two areas of major corrosion, which were easily patched.

The wonderful Richard Calver, Jensen guru, has just emailed me with a suggested paint code.

Most decent paintshops should have access to a spectrum analyser to get match from the original paint

Maybe this one hasn't, but having seen their work on other cars they are certainly more than decent.

If they haven't got one, their friendly paint rep should have access to one for them
