Was whizzing along my favourite route the other evening and saw a 911 2.7 RS (possibly replica) twice (once in each direction). Better still it was being driven like an RS should be. The sonorous precursors, the striking aesthetics and then the lingering smell were just ace. Made the already brilliant ride really stand out.

I will own a porky something one day - be it a recreation or otherwise.

That is all....

nearly all. If anyone knows who owns the porsches in Compton Basset in Wiltshire, just say thanks from me for driving it properly.

Hairpin Classics probably - just don't look at their website you may feel inadequate.
Of course it could be Robbie Williams as he's got the big house there but apparently is more into tractors...
We live a few miles from there and occasionally see some absolutely cracking stuff.

As the man says almost certainly from Hairpin. They do seem to stock the very best of each model but I imagine the prices reflect this. I'm only a village or two away and sometines see interesting things on my way to work.

Was it green? In which case it is Hairpin stock but a replica and not the real thing.
I wouldn't say no all the same.

Saw an LHD one southbound on the M6 on Tuesday. Also a bare-metal race-prepared LHD Cobra on a trailer northbound reg OKV something.
