Any thoughts, I have not been for many years and to be honest it felt like it had lost its 'shine' a bit for me?

If your on about the classic car show then I went last year and must say I thought it had gone downhill.
I went to it on a regular basis when I lived there back in the 80's and 90's and it was a good day out.

I found that last time I went there seemed to be quite a few battered chaved corsa's with stereos booming, I thought it was meant to a classic car show, not McDonald's car park on a Saturday night.

They even got into the event free as so called show cars, I think the organisers want to start getting a bit more picky with the cars as 15 year old corsa's and fiestas held together with poly filler with 6x9's don't do it for me.

To be honest thats what I thought and so did my old dad, I went years ago when I did not have 4 kids to cart around and today was to be a me my son and grandad day but truth is I thought it was a bit of a farce, the crappy way in and out of the car parks was awfull, if it was raining I think even my Subaru would have had a hard time getting out! - shame really

Coming round the 25 late this afternoon i saw quite a few classics which i guess were coming from the show, inc a White Cobra complete with a hard top and with the reg no DAX COBRA.

I did think of going this morn, but glad we didn't .

Myself and BLUETHUNDER were there.
BLUETHUNDER had his c6 z51 there but i didn't take anything along. Next year i'll be there in Her Majesty for sure as i got a little telling off from the club secretary for not taking the car along hehe .

I thought the show was rather good (for exhibits) but it could learn a lot from other shows regarding the autojumble side of things.

I had the Independent Porsche Club stand there. Yup numbers were way down on cars there. We had a double sized pitch although we only ordered a single 15 car club pitch. Didn't see any monster size stands there either. The weather held off until around 3:30 when it started to drizzle which was much better than last year when it peed down incessantly.
