I bought some old MotorSport magazines today and this was stuffed inside one of them.

Pontypool is not far from where I live but I never realised that they used to have a hillclimb there. I know where it is on the map, there's a leisure centre there now. Wish they still had the climb. frown

1968 is the date on the program.

Just thought someone may be interested?

very interesting, I was born and brought up in S Wales and went to Pontypool parrk a few times with my Dad, and Llandow, I keep thinking of trying to hire a car to do a track day at Llandow, but when I'm in S wales now i never have the time.

FAO Jamie300

I tried PMing you but you don't accept mail?

Sadly I don't have any copy's of this programe. I ended up donating it to the Pontypool Museum. They should still have it there, are you local?

Used for hillclimbs from 1967 to 1977 according to the superb "Motorsport Explorer", and a round of the British Championship in 1974. Closed due to, you guessed it, complaints from NIMBYs about the noise.

Went there many times, great hill - was closed down after they built an OAP home close by and the old codgers complained about the noise to the council who also owned the park, the council closed the track because of these complaintsmad
