Hi guys

Hope you can help I need the dash of a 1983 Aston restoring

The glovebox panel , clock panel and dials panel have gone milky and have some cracking to the lacquer

Does anyone know anyone who can restore to a high standard

Based in north west but distance not the many criteria

Thanks in advance

I'd be interested in your findings. I was going to attempt my own (wood veneer over a bakelite base) If I can't get the required finish nothing lost just strip it off and let a pro have it.

Here you go: http://www.chapmanandcliff.co.uk/pricelist.htm

I haven't used them myself (yet) though have seen the quality of their work and will be taking my Riley's dashboard to them over the winter.

Highly recommended and very helpful.

They did my Jag Mk2 woodwork and it's really excellent.

There is a place called Post Vintage in Otley (nr Leeds) that has got good reviews - not sure if too far from you though. They're an Aston only specialist.
