Here are a few pictures from the Aberdeen group of the first ever Cognoscenti run.

There were many really special cars there. The cars are supposed to be pre-1973 but a few modern beauties turned up too.












Please excuse some of the contrast in the pictures - it was not the best lighting to be taking pictures in.

And what appears to be a genuine Cobra 289 which hasn't been mucked around with - in my eyes the best-looking of all the Aces/Cobras. The 427 just looks a bit too butch for me.

Reminds me of the late lamented Ecure Ecosse tours of 20-odd years ago. I remember following one featuring a right mixed bag of classics and (then) moderns as diverse as a Maserati 300S and a Porsche 959.
