OK, so I had an email from them saying it would be a few days late but it must be a week overdue by now - anyone had theirs yet?

It is late because of the embargo placed on the publishers by McLaren. As the P1 is featured and they did not want the pictures to appear until after the Paris launch

My copy arrived this morning.

As an aside, I had letter of the month in the October issue and my free wallet hasn't arrived yet. Gutted.

Mmmmm, I'm still waiting for mine - as I said I knew it was going to be a little late but how come it's in the shops before I get my subscription copy ?

Mine came Thursday I think, as above must have been the P1 embargo

I'd rather they held the Mclaren feature over to next month than delay the mag this month - very bad form for a magazine not to stick to a publication deadline and an easy way to upset and possibly lose advertisers . . .

I don't think it's a particularly good issue anyway. Leave the new supercars to Evo, last month's Daytona issue is much better.

I've not opened it yet but that's disappointing, new supercars should definitly be in Evo not Octane. frown

If you look in October's issue it says the November one was due September 27th.
Mine arrived on the 28th so I don't think that's unreasonable?

That was me! I also simultaneously had a letter published in Motor Sport mag about a pilgrimage to Mont Tremblant in Canada. Note to self - visit more old race circuits.

Bit more on Montjuic here: http://www.motorcardiaries.co.uk/2012/montjuic-par...

What's the Group B car story mentioned on the cover? Had a quick flick through in WH Smith and couldn't find it.

Eventually got my (subscription copy) on October 1st. Subscribers are supposed to get their copies 5 days before it appears in the shops (that's the date quoted in the mag). So my issue was effectively 10 days overdue.
