Not a 'classic' but needs restoration in Hertfordshire
Discussion
After leaving my 1989 Mk1 MR2 out in the rain for the first time in years last night and waking up to a puddle on the passenger side footwell I've come to the realisation that it's time to make a decision - either run the car as it is for a few years until the rust kills it off or sort it out so it'll be good for the next decade.
The car is fine mechanically and all the important structural bits are sound enough, however the arches, windscreen headlining (the culprit for todays descovery I think) are dissapearing. In addition, the general state of the outside of the car means a complete re-spray is in order.
Now I won't be doing this to sell it on and I know that it's never going to make it's money back but I'm planning on keeping this indefinatly. So the reason for this post is to see if anyone on here knows a good place to take it in the Herts/Cambs/Beds area. I've never needed to get body repairs done before so am a bit lost as to where to start and I want to take it somewhere which will do a quality job. Any advice appreciated! Thanks!
