With autumn setting in and long dark nights ahead, let's brighten things up with a virtual glamour parade of pre-war supercars, such as those which have graced Pebble Beach down the years. Anything goes as long as it was made before the end of WWII. Photos can be old or new. Post up your favourites for all to enjoy.

Here's an old B/W image to kick off. Mercedes-Benz 540K Spezial Roadster with a certain Hindenburg Zeppelin passing above:

Bit "bread and butter" compared to some of the stunners posted already, but one of these has a place in my Lottery garage...

Simon Taylor's Derby Bentley sedanca-de-ville. That man has this, an AC Ace 2.6, and an HWM-Chevrolet aka The Stovebolt Special - what does he use as a daily driver? Lucky beggar.

Apologies for the OT, but can you imagine the impression of turning up anywhere, in any period in that?!

How about a Bugatti T41 Royale? The Esders Roadster: no unseemly lights to spoil the lines.

Just imagine trying to reverse that into a parking bay in Tesco's car park!
