Can anyone identify the 2 cars either side of the GT6? Just above the nose of the 40.

I think it's a Renault 17, but I'm not certain! Definitely Marina coupe in Harvest Gold, a Austin/Morris 1800/2200 the same colour toward the end of the row and a red 1100/1300.

Far side, Nissan Sunny?, Cortina MkIV? V?, Fiat 126.

Dark Triumph Dolomite in the middle row.

What's that estate car between the Fiat 126, with red primer on the NS front wing and the dark, cherry red Ital? The shape says Renault 12 to me, but the light lenses don't look right for that.

Estate might be a Subaru.

There's Renault 12 there on other side near top next to red Austin (ok, maybe a Morris!).

I think so, but the combination of the smallness and my eyes makes it difficult to be sure. Fiat 131?

It could be, I was looking for a spangly fuel filler cover, and it looks matt? The chrome strip above the rear reg. plate says Subaru?

So the locomotive is a 'forty' and that's why the number is 40 106?

That poor GT6 looks like someone has hacked the roof about and fitted a 'sunhatch'.

Go to Austin / Morris 1800 lhs, next nearest cars are Mk1 Escort van and Renault 14.

2nd up from the beige sandglow Marina coupe is a Lancia Beta (clue - you can hear it rusting). But then again, it could be a Chrysler Alpine (same clue still applies).

Simca could be Austin 1300 4-door or similar. Think you're right with Simca tho. What's white car at lamp-post? First thought Austin Allaggro but changed my mind.
And what's dark-coloured car next to beige Marina coupe - BMW 5-series maybe?

With you most of the way... 'cept the Dolly is a Toledo and Cortina a MKV not IV. Oh and I'd say the Marina is Harvest Gold, not Sandglow.

Not sure about the first car in the back row. First I thought Avenger then Datsun 100a.

The car on the end is definately a Renault 17, I had one, in black around '82.
the 15 had a full glass panel not the strakes, which I used to take out when washing it, not something the people who resprayed it after a rear end shunt, bothered to do. Thanks you Coopers of Cleckheaton.

Beige Cortina at top mid is Mk5, as is green one by lamp-post - flatter roof than Mk4. I think someone's right about Datsun Cherry 100A.
