Which chargher/conditioner?

Son in law's got a 1500 MG Midget and for Xmas I said we'll buy him a charger conditioner for the car. He keeps it outside under a car cover and can run a mains extension lead to it OK, so which one do you recommend?

I've got a CTEK 3600 on my kitcar and it works fine. I keep it plugged in whenever the car's not being used and to quote a phrase "it does what it says on the tin", so any reason I should get something different?

Did a good bit of looking round before I got mine - I got the updated version of yours (now called a CTEK 3.6) for my MGB. They're also now taking pre-orders for extension leads through the CTEK site which will be great as mine's on full-stretch at the moment.

Another 'vote' for the CTEK 3.6 - never let me down.

I can't think of a single other accessory for my classic that has been a better acquisition than my CTEK battery conditioner.

God knows how much time I used to waste faffing about with flat or knackered batteries.

Thanks chaps, thought my CTek was OK and good enough for s.i.l. but just checking that there's nothing better out there, though the Accumate seems much the same too.

Anyway, just ordered the 3.6 direct from CTek.
