Not sure where to post this thread so thought I'd put it on here.

This is a thread for posting pictures of all types of vehicles that have had the Dukes Of Hazzard treatment, the more unusual the better.

Certainly in some scenes I remember seeing the front of the cars breaking just before the cut as the car came down from jumping over a bridge or similar.

IIRC that's why they used the Charger - plenty were available cheaply second hand.

They were the US-equivalent of the UK Hillman Avenger at the time. Cheap as chips.

And now, because it was in the series and they destroyed so many of them, '68 & '69 Dodge Chargers are worth a lot more than if the cars had never been used!

(In fact, I suspect if it were not for The Dukes of Hazzard, a lot more '68 & '69 Chargers would have simply been left to rot away or gone for scrap! I wonder how many Chargers owe their survival due to the demise of the 320 [or 321 - or 256 - depending on who you believe] Chargers used in the series?).
