Classic car hire abroad
Discussion
Anyone hired a classic car whilst on holiday?
Or taken a holiday with the specific intention of hiring a classic for touring around?
I'm working on business ideas for Cyprus and figured I'd try and set myself apart from the crowds of cheap euro/jap hatches for hire.
I'm aiming for a high end clientele who don't mind paying a little extra for great service (pick up and drop off from airport or hotel. Guided and non guided tours etc.) and the chance to drive some interesting classic cars which no one else offers.
Your thoughts; would you be tempted?

Have a word with Fabrice Le Roy. He's a top bloke and has been doing this for a few years so should be able to give you the full lowdown. Or taken a holiday with the specific intention of hiring a classic for touring around?

Wow! Thanks for the link; some beautiful cars there but somewhat out of my league.Website: http://www.rentacarclassic.com/rent_a_classic_car_...
I think I'll have to start off a little lower down the pecking order. I'm thinking about some nice straight original Mini Coopers, Fiat 500, Ford Escort Mexico, VW Beetle, VW Campers etc.
Probably start with some vespas and/or lambrettas
