"Restoed" to some people means hoovering the carpets and putting a mist of rattle cans over dented panels.

That is lovely.

Would it count as an "import" from S'Ireland-UK?

I'm not going to be totally honest for fear of being flamed...but its not that nice and certainly not flawless IMO.

Credit to the person who did it, but its only a Mk3 Cortina.... sacrilege I know, but hardly set-your-pants-on-fire material.

Is the OP just plugging a car he/she has a vested interest in?
The Cortina isn't perfect, the paint finish looks pretty poor for a start.

Seeing as u said it I'll elaborate my thoughts...its a damn piss poor paint job. If you want to see a flawless finish look at my post with the red mini clubman in the classic spotters thread...that's flawless.

I didn't think PH liked adverts in the forums.

Edit.. Let me rephrase.. I didn't think PH liked people trying to sell their cars in the forum. I believe that's what this thread is, either that or the op is blind.

No, he means the whole post is an advert, possibly because a very new member has just posted a link to a car which has only just been listed on eBay.

FWIW I'd be cautious. It was only bought a couple of years ago, so this isn't a labour of love affair. What corners have been cut in order to turn a profit?

I saw his edit after I'd posted but CBA to edit my own lol

I doubt they'll turn a profit with it looking like that. Unless they paid £5 for it smile

It would have helped if the dents had been taken out of the front and rear valences, and got that passenger door to line up. Also if the steering wheel had been put on the right way up...

There was perhaps a hint of sarcasmlaugh and its certainly NOT my car.
I do appreciate that the guy has put a lot of work into it, but how he can state that it has had new sills is beyond me rolleyes

The way the sills align with the doors is nasty. Love these cars but that one is to be avoided.

Hope you find a buyer OP
