I am going to need to 'lay up' one or more of my cars due to personal reasons, possibly for a year. I have always understood that it is best to brim the tanks but I have heard that fuel goes off after a while.

Given both cars between them will be the best part of £250 to fill is this an expense that I can avoid?

Think the only advantage in brimming the fuel tanks is to stop them corroding inside
