Hi Guys,
As the above says, does anyone know of someone who`s not going to rip me off as i`ve experienced recently, by someone who thinks i have an open ended cheque book !
I know its a specialist thing all this restoring cars, but there`s a limit to what they can reasonably expect to be paid surely.

I have an early Series one E Type FHC that i want the body finishing on, its 4/5ths done i just want it got ready for painting, then putting back together again, mecahanics ect, is there someone out there thats good and reliable, maybe retired and wants to earn some cash ? or just an enthusiast that would help me and i`d pay him, i`m in the S East area of Kent, just off J4 of the M25, any help would be appreciated,
Many thanks in advance guys.

Speak to Ben Robins at Finish First. They can organise transport.

Very reasonable rates & a top quality job. I know that they are currently stacked out with work - but what better testimony as to quality & price?

Have a look on Essex Classics forum mate, there are a lot of Kent guys on there, and many of the members restore cars etc too. I'm sure someone could help or point you in the right direction.

Maidstone sports cars at headcorn are good guys , did a lovely job on nieces TR2.
But for E types there is a workshop near tenterden that specialises in them , trying to remember the name?

Well, you were nearly right. Simon Dunford worked for Lynx as did the directors of CKL. But I still have a better idea.......
