Rarities from the 70s and 80s . . .

My parents couldn't stretch to a Tagora (didn't they have a digital dash or trip computer?), but embarassed us with two Solaras instead. I never want to see one of those again.
During the 1970s we had one of these in this colour. Datsun Cherry 120A with round rear lamps. It was a rare bird back then, yet alone now!

There were never that many AC 3000ME in the first place with only 100 cars being built, but that said a good proportion still exist. At a recent owners meet at Brands Hatch a fortnight ago we had this many turn up.

The centre blue one was at the NEC Show last year? They very rarely seem to be traded, are they keepers?TurboBlue said:

Yes it was, my brothers n/a car. They do tend to stay with owners and rarely leak out into small ads/trade, if you want one the best way is to talk to the register as there are usually 3-4 cars that could be persuaded to move house. That said there is currently one in the Kia dealer in Bognor of all places.Edited by 72twink on Wednesday 22 May 11:48
Opel Commodore
Talbot Horizon
Mitsubishi Starion
Incidently, that Audi 100 Coupe pictured would have been my first choice. The first car I ever drove at the Cardrome in Hornchurch in Essex was one of those. Was my then girlfriends brothers car, I loved them! (The cars, not the girlfriend or her brother!!) Lol

My old boss (back in the nineties) was into Lancias and as well as a relatively common Beta Spyder, had a Trevi and a Y10... the Trevi really must be in the running for a "What the hell have they done to the dashboard?" award...
Hard to believe but I saw an immaculate, rustfree, beige Alfa Sud t'other week!
