What did I see?

An approx 1950s car in Henley on Thames this afternoon. Saloon, largish for it's time. A large vertical radiator grill, but seemed to have Morris Minor style doors. From the rear and side it looked bulbous, I thought some kind of Morris Oxford. But from the front it had a square edged look more like a Triumph Mayflower.
