For those interested there is an interesting programme about Malcolm Sayer, the designer behind the C, D, E, XJ13 and XJS on BBC Radio 4 at 9pm on Wednesday entitled An Aeronautical Genius smile

I'm not sure how much Sayer was involved with the XJS other than some early concept sketches? He suffered his first heart-attack in 1968 and finally passed away in 1970. The XJS wasn't launched to the public until 1975.
