seek out p4cks on here, i'm sure he found a firm that makes old dealer stickers and had some made up for his Clio Williams. Check out readers cars, his car is on there.

We are looking into making others.

An Original Dealer sticker is a lovely finishing touch to a classic and many were Very stylish. Unfortunately most age very badly in the sun and just dissolve.
One nice rear screen one I saw recently on a CSL was from a long gone Garage and BMW dealer ?? that I have never heard of ( and cant find any reference to ) called " G Eric Hunt " and the sticker had something like " Follow The Hunt " in it. I will put a photo up of it when can find it.

John Wilment Ford of west London had a stylish one as well and another sadly long gone ( early 80s ? ) Dealers and Lancia Agents and Lancia Stratos racers called " The Chequered Flag " near Chiswick also had a nice logo. The last one of theirs that I saw was on a Series 2 E Type roadster that I pulled out of a very damp Manchester garage where it had sat since 1979.

Talking of which... my Quattro is very original – I'm only the second owner – and it still has all the original stickers, tax disc holder etc with the old style VAG group logos and phone numbers. The only thing that isn't original is the number plates which while showing the original number are not the original plates. Is there anywhere where I can get new plates made with the older wider characters and the original dealer name number and VW / Audi logos underneath?

Anyone remember the little white reflective 'D' sticker that Frank Dye of Watton used to put on all the cars they sold?

Also the Mann Egerton 'seagull'

I've still got the dealer number plates and rear window sticker from Scott's on my 1989 Golf. I think it lends a feeling of originality to it. Tax disc holder is long gone, however.

One of the reasons that I havent changed the soft top on my Beta Spyder is that it still has its original 'Pointer Motors' sticker in the back window

Thanks re G Eric Hunt. I can't find any adverts from the BMW dealer group of 1972-74 for him. Pretty sure that All UK BMW dealers had to take a CSL as part of their franchise agreement. They just couldn't get enough 2002s but who wanted to pay £7 grand for a CSl !

And who could forget the Mann Egerton Sea Gull. They were a large co, sadly long gone. I had a Tr6 with their decal in the corner of the screen.
