Calling all PHrs racing in this years Circuit de Remparts! I'm hoping one of you classic racers can help out with a project my 17 year old son is doing for his Bachalaureat in film and cinema ( bear with me here). As part of the final exam he has to direct, produce and film a documentary of his choice. As we live only 20 mins from Angoulême and go to the Circuit every year, it was only natural that he would choose it as his subject. The idea is to follow a competitor and film the preparations that they go through to get the car and themselves ready, then film them racing and all the other interesting bits that happen in the lead up and on the day.I would really appreciate it if any of you would be prepared to participate and of course most importantly it would help him with his future success. Details of what, where, when, how etc can all be discussed so as not to cause any inconvenience to anyone kind enough to help out. Let me know via the forum if you can accommodate him, he's not an idiot and is very dedicated and enthusiastic. We can discuss things privately once we have an interested party. Thanks.

Thanks very much for the help. Hope your friend is up for it. By the way, that's a great shot taken on the hairpin in front of the cathedral. Must have been taken from the business side of the barrier!

I would see if the VSCC would mention it for you, a lot of the members go over and compete.

A good person to speak to directly would be Dougal at Longstone Tyres, he races "Piglet" a Frazer Nash and is quite a character.

Thanks for the suggestion. What would be the best way to contact Dougal? I have no idea where Longstone tyres is. The Frazer Nash boys always have a good turn out every year.

A thread has just been put up on the VSCC forum with the content of your email in it, hopefully you might get a few replies.

Good luck!
