Pre-60 premium?

I'm half looking for a motorbike at the moment, and what I'm looking for (a pre-unit twin bike) kind of straddles the 1960 mark. Because of the lack of MoT needed on a fifties one, I've found myself discarding early sixties bikes.
Has anyone else found themselves dong this since the new law? I wouldn't change my choice of model based upon it, but as I could potentially get the same bike but one needs an MoT and one doesn't, I'm inclined to go to the late fifties one.
Assuming I'm not the only one, are people noticing a premium on pre-60 vehicles?

So what in reality you're asking is would most people prefer to buy a 50 plus year old vehicle without an independent, certified check being carried out in the form of an MOT?Has anyone else found themselves dong this since the new law? In fact I'm not entirely sure you've read what I've written at all, I can only assume you're trying to enter the MoT argument again?
What I've asked is whether people have noticed a price premium on a vehicle that doesn't need an MoT any more when compared to a similar example that does need one.
Oh and in response to your random reply, I wouldn't buy a vehicle based upon the fact that it has an MoT whatever it's age, and assume that means it's good. I'd do the old fashioned thing of checking it out myself, doing my own checks and buying based on that.
