Vintage car owners in notts/derby PLEASE help!

Hi everyone
Im looking for some vintage car owners to bring their cars to display on sunday 18 th aug 1 o clock -3 o clock......
I work for a company called ashmere care homes ( nottingham) which is a site of 3care homes specialising in the care of the young physically disabled, dementia and elderly.
We have recently renovated our gardens so decided to celebrate by holding and self funding a community garden party to raise money for cancer research uk.
The event is sun aug 18 th at 1-4 o clock (address is ashmere, priestsic road, sutton in ashfield. Nottinghamshire ng17 2ah.
The event includes:
Live entertainment, punch &judy, bouncy castle, funfair games, bbq, stalls etc. the whole event is totally free and we are raising money by having a grand raffle with some great prizes donated.
We really wanted to have about 10 vintage cars on show but everyone we have tried has been unable to help or wanted several hundred pounds. Im afraid iv already exceeded the budget i had set so can only offer free food, drinks and ice cream...& of course families are all welcome, theres lots for kids to do. So, to summarise,iv now only got one confirmed vintage car coming which im sure you'll agree isn't much of a display!
Can anyone help (even for just an hour or so) by coming down with their cars?
Any help would be appreciated.

sorry I can't help but most decent owners would expect nothing more than the cars to be reasonably looked after - some are very relaxed about sticky figures on the paintwork and the horn being pressed numerous times - others much less so
as you may well be young by vintage do you also mean classic, i.e. cars over say 20-25 years old (as vintage cars are very old)?
I'm sure you'd welcome vintage, classic and modern classics - but I might be wrong and you really do want 80-90 year old cars

Strictly, 'Vintage' as defined by the Vintage Sports Car Club is pre 1st January 1931.
'Veteran' as defined by the Veteran Car Club is pre 1 January 1919 ('Brighton run' cars are pre 1 January 1905)
'Classic' could be anything as far as I know, and some events it's over 20 years old, others it's over 25.
'Historic' is a term used on tax discs and V5s (ie free tax) and at the moment is pre 1 January 1973 but as part of the budget the date will move to 1 January 1974, presumably at the new year.
But the media waves any term it likes really.

most of us know generally know all that nerdy stuff if not exact dates - Claire doesn't need to it's been established what she meant as a non-petrolheadso - are you offering up any vehicles, I'd guess Claire needs the more relaxed owners and I know many of you very old car owners enjoy helping at these types of events and other charity events
