About 10:30 there appeared to be some kind of Sierra upside down off the A43 near the A5 junction, quite possibly it had been on it's way to the Ford event at Silverstone. Does anyone know what happened or whether the driver was OK?

Nothing in my Twitter feed from Pol or Ambo in that area, so hopefully not serious.

Oops, I thought it was an XR4. But then it did look just like the XR4s I used to see in the eighties.

Yuppie racing white, check.
Tacky rear spoiler, check.
Upside down in ditch, check.

hehe

Mine was black & still the right way up after I wrote it off in the 90s.

Glad to hear all involved are ok though. Can't be that many S1 RSTs left.

I'm a miserable failure, Red XR4x4 not written off, just sold at a horrendous loss, £3k behind the finance, I took cover in a Volvo estate and never looked back.
Great car tho'smile
