'64 Giulia - heater controls

It's a bit embarassing to have to ask this, but can anyone who has one of these tell me where (i) the levers (marked air and tempearture) (ii) the flap under the dashboard should be for hot air/cold air/no air etc. Mine is the SS, but I assume it is the same on all the Giulia derivatives of that vintage.
I have found a repro instruction manual on fleabay which is on its way, but in the meantime any insights are welcome.

I think it must be different. I don't have levers that slide horizontally - they are under the dash and can be pulled/pushed in a backwards/forwards plane. On the right hand side of the steering wheel are two levers like that for accelerator and choke, and on the left hand side they are marked "air" and "temperature".
If it is the same as on my earlier Sprint
- One of the push/pulls operates the heater valve to let hot water into the heater - so set that for hot or cold. (Mine doesnt shut off fully, so I get permamnet hot air)
- One of the push/pulls opens a flap that directs air to the screen via 3 outlets.
- Open the flap on the heater box to get hot air inside the car. Keep this closed if you want to demist, so all air goes to the screen.
- One of the four switches on, rather than under the dash, switches a fan on and off (this makes a noise, but does little to blow air out)
- The sprint then has a cold air only vent below the dashboard - not sure whether an SS has this (fed by the left hand trunking under the bonnet - this is v useful on a hot day if you open a rear quaterlight - you get airflow without the noise of an open drivers window)
Not the same as on a 105 series car (different controls, and a much more effective heater on the later cars)
Hope you are enjoying your wonderful car - 750 & 101 series Alfas are absolute gems - though have crap heaters!
