NEC Classic Car Show 2013

Eyup. Probs on the Saturday, as Mrs 2CV has now decided from being completely disinterested in cars she now is a fan of classics! Who's going AND does any have any promo codes?

I usually take my son and dad along. Its a good day out. No promo codes yet, but I always keep an eye out for it. Buy tickets in advance too. And don't park on-site

All of the clubs who have display space will have promo. codes for their members by now. If you can find someone who is in one of those clubs or responsible for filling in the forms for their club <cough> you might be able to get codes from them. <cough cough>

Park at Birmingham International rail station instead - cheaper and less hassle...

yes, have a look at the trainlines. We park there (free/very cheap) and get the train to the NEC/airport stop. its undercover so rain isn't an issue, its a shorter walk then the car parks its cheaper, and you can also go and see the planes at the airport: great if you have a 3 year old

The main thing that put me off the show last year was the scandalous parking charge and the hall just seemed to have TOO many people there.

Friday is always the best day to go, costs more but is better value as you don't have the dense crowds

Think I paid £16 with a promo code last year, so saved a few quid. A couple of our group who hadn't pre booked, while in the queue to buy tickets at the booking office were offered tickets by numerous people and paid only £10 each!

I think you can park for nothing at the next station along the line (Hampton in Arden) and the train only costs a couple of quid, cheaper than paying NEC carpark price and less traffic when you leave.

Got my car on the Manta stand this year, so will be getting in for free. But cost me £10 a day to park last year, so that is very steep!
I shall be there the Saturday and the Sunday again. Is always a great show.

i tried to attend in 09 when I was to have my TVR on the stand, but I had an accident on the way and that was that!
