A Morgan you say? - Sounds like one of the vacuum tubes has gone in the wiring circuit! 
(Don't take My post the wrong way, I love Morgans! They have proper style, dare to be different and do things their own way - Managing to be both old and modern at the same time without being a stylists retro design like so many other cars. I hope you get to the bottom of Your issue without too many problems!

)Seriously - as others have posted dodgy connection or bad earth, possibly at the rear light. Having a Blackpool bathtub I'm familiar with the problem
OP, yes do trace/buzz out for poor earth connections but also trace back on the wiring for points where the brake lights and indicators share as same earthing point/wire. It's also possible you could have high resistance, and/or, a partial short due to poor fitting within the light cluster/bulb area/wiring to the offending indicator. It's often best to dismantle, clean up all areas, buzz out each circuit individually so you know they are working individually and then re-check once all back together. Good luck...
Sorry for the delayed reply, I've only just spotted this so it's probably too late.
Check that the rear number plate lamp is securely attached. I had the same problem on my 1980 4/4, the body of the number plate lamp is the only connection between the two rear wings so if the screws holding it on are corroded the earth to the nearside becomes weak.
